Garrioch At It Again. Somebody Hand Me That Ball Gag E-mail

Most sane people could be excused for thinking that L'Affaire Doucheldorf has been safely stuffed back into the Pandora's box from which it emerged, at least until camp opens.  Bruce "Malkin to the Kings" Garrioch is not one of those people.

No, our intrepid Ottawa Sun bon vivant and man-about-buffets hath decreed, in light of the Oil finally taking their puck and going home, that the San Jose Sharks will now move heaven and earth to land our disgruntled man-child.

Sources say the San Jose Sharks have more than a passing interest in the two-time 50-goal scorer, but if they’re going to make the deal, they might have to get a third team involved — possibly the Montreal Canadiens — because the Senators won’t accept what the Sharks have on the table. -- Ottawa Sun

Before you go scrambling to NHL.com for the respective rosters and then to NHLNumbers for the cap story, I'm going to save you all a lot of time and trouble.  That's just the kind of guy I am.

Listen up Doug (and you to, Boo Boo).  There's no need for a complicated three way deal to land Heater.  Frankly, I can't see anything on the Habs' roster that you need anyway (certainly nothing we'd want), and no, you're not dumping your Cheechoo headache on us in return.  You want Dany?  Here's how you get him.

Thornton.  Straight up.

Otherwise, shut the hell up and go away.
