Dany Heatley refuses a trade he requested. The Senators pay him $4 million. There's talk of filing a grievance. Oh, and Chris Neil was given a four-year, $8 million contract. As far as moments in Senators' history, this Frenzy is right up there with losing a Stanley Cup and any playoff series involving the Leafs. GRADE: D -- Puck Daddy

While poking us with The Four In A Row Giggle Stick was a bit unwarranted, I can't say I entirely disagree with that assessment.  Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go punch myself in the face for a little while.  It eases the pain.

Just for the record, I would love to see an open letter from you to Kovalev on your expectations for him this season. To keep him in line. Thank you. smilies/smiley.gif

Look on the bright side.

You just overpaid Kovalev with cap space you don't have.

Almost got your wish, anon. I started writing a post as soon as I heard the news. Lucky for me, the Bloguin servers chose that exact moment to go in the shitter. I'll try again later tonight.

Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned!

"Start"? Hmmm....interesting concept this "start" of yours. It seems to imply that there will be, at some point in the future, an "end".

Sorry, Charles. It's on the way.

As I was crafting my oeuvre last night, the Bloguin servers crapped out, wiping out everything. I was mute, I tells ya! MUTE!

Then I went to bed.
